Korea Pieces
These pieces are a result of a a fellowship I received from Apexart in NYC to travel to South Korea in 2018. Artists travel alone for a month and are given a varied schedule of cultural experiences that they must follow daily. The artists are asked not to create artwork during the stay but to focus on their experience of the culture and customs of South Korea. I took many photographs and a year after my return used some of the imagery in my work. I was required to keep a blog of my experiences which can be viewed on my links page.
